Again, nice job! What's RV? I wanna go.

HOLY CRAP that's a nice looking guitar! Very nice work man! I always wanted to take off and go to luthier school, but just never went!

Looks to me like you have a lot of career options after seeing that!

Thanks alot for the praise guys! It was so much fun!!! I'm ready to build another one eventhough I've got a Bubinga Dreadnought and a '51 no-caster clone waiting for the spray booth... Maybe a commission will come along soon... Can't building forever without selling them... The quality wood I like to use isn't cheap at all!!!

Re: Pix of the OM Acoustic I built at RV...

Its very rare that I'm visually wowed by an acoustic...that one is gorgeous.

Re: Pix of the OM Acoustic I built at RV...

I really dig the maple binding, and the "V" in the endpin area.

Also, the maple laminate at the neck joint is a nice touch too.

Great job - it turned out looking very unified.

What is the fretboard binding's material? If you say maple I am going to fall out of my chair. That can't be easy to work with.

Re: Pix of the OM Acoustic I built at RV...

Immortal, man you have an eye for details!!!

The maple hellcap also has a .050" ebony laminate which makes the maple jump out...

The fingerboard binding is also maple with B/W/B perfling...

The hardest part with the FB binding was keeping the lacquer on while fretting... I had to REALLy undercut the fret tangs to keep from pressing the lacquer off...

Thanks again for all the compliments... I had a blast building it and am proud, but it's sure nice to get praise from others...

I think it's you who has they eye for detail! Love your stuff man, can't wait to see more, or even an original design/build!

Only reason I'm picking up on details is that I'm doing my own first build right now and learning how much there is to it!

You can check out my progress at http://phinnguitars.blogspot.com/ if you're interested - simple bolt on single cutaway T-style build going on right now.
