so i was looking for impressions from users that own it or have tried it...........I make extensive use of delays and use many different delay settings so i need a delay pedal (i own rack delays but this time i am building a pedalboard and i want to use exclusively pedals for everything) that i can switch/store various delay settings and i need to see the msec setting i am using at the time.

So is it a decent delay pedal?????

Re: Planning to buy a boss dd 20 digital delay

I've got a buddy of mine that used one for years and he's a freakin delay maniac....he made amazing use of it and his tones were great. I'd say that that one and the Line 6 delay modeler are the best available on the market today.

Doesn't this have 23 seconds og delay? Who need that much delay time?

It is an awesome pedal. It is very versatile, and the sound quality is great. I use mine with my guitar, bass, baritone, and DJ setups.

It's a :cool3: pedal. But too complicated for my needs.

Enjoy it.

my guess is someone who knows how much fun delays can be. I recommend the DL4 as well, with the tap tempo- a little more intuitive, but if you need that display, the DD-20 is the only one out there with it in a pedal.

The display and the price difference is what sold it to a guy at church.

Decent? IMO it's one of the best delay pedals you can buy!

The sound quality is excellent and its really gets you some great beautiful lush tones. The control layout takes some getting used to and isn't as easy as the Line 6 DL4 but hey.... RTFM, you know? ;)

I've got mine set up for 4 different delays on call plus whatever the manual is dialed into. I don't use it but the 23 seconds worth of sound on sound is pretty badass too.

Excellent choice for a delay pedal.

I had one for a while and really liked it a lot. I dissolved my gigging rig when I moved up here to Albuquerque or else I'd still own it.

Seem to be a lot of DD-20 users around here, so maybe you could answer these questions:
1. Does the DD-20 do multiple delays at the same time?
2. Like the intro to "Run Like Hell"?
3. Can you save presets with it?
4. Can you get it to self oscillate like the old DD-2 and DD-3s?
