Eh it never seems to fail that when i have G.A.S for a guitar and finally save enuff money for it a new guitar comes out that i mite love just as more than the first G.a.S

soo heres the details- ima end up buying one of these babies

A jackson kelly ke-3 In crimson swirl . One Volume knob (eek im scared of that, 3 way toggle, alder body, 24 frets, maple neck w/ rosewood fretboard (which ive played jackson necks before and i love them.) and sharkfin inlays

and the

B.C Rich Platinum Pro Warlock in a prrrrty prrl ( i love white guitars)... 1 volume 2 tone knobs (different sound options unliek the kelly), agathis body (ive never played a guitar made of this wood --- what is it like?) 24 frets, maple neck w/ rosewood fretboard (ive played 1 b.c rich before and i dun recall how the neck felt) and it has dot inlays but i think the beauty of the white-ness overcomes the plainess of the inlays.... oo and it has binding

Get the kelly, Avoid agathis like the devil unless you're gunna put EMG's in it.

Oh, man... get the Kelly!

Not only are Kellys totally badass, but Jackson's quality is sky-high. Even on their foreign models.... you're much better off with a Jax than a Rich. Trust me, I used to have a Japanese made KBX bass that was completely killer. The Jacksons have better necks and add in the fact that agathis is a really cheap, lousy sounding wood and I'd say the evidence speaks for itself.

Agathis is crap. Give me an agathis guitar that sounds decent and I'll seriously tell you to shut up and go away, because you're lying.

Get the jackson, it will rock your socks off while the BC Rich will, well, it'll make you :smack:

Hands down, get the Kelly. The BC Rich platinum series is made of inferior materials (Agathis) and with lower quality hardware and pickups.

USA BC Riches are up on par with USA Jacksons, but the Imports from both arent the world. But Jackson at least just saves on the HW and Pickups and used good wood ;)

I got a Bronze series warlock made of agathis and does sound dull and i am trying to sell it, i keep reducing the price to no avail :yell: . Since it has a widow headstock i mite use it as a coat hanger, or something other than a guitar.

kelly all the way.. and crimson swirl = one of the best finishes EVER!
jackson necks are damn comfortable to play.. it has that worn in feel right off the bat

about the one volume knob thing.. you could fit another pot in the cavity, you just have to make the hole .. as much as i've seen from the back of the kelly, it is do-able .. but i havent seen the actual cavity

yeah i forgot to post that ima replace the pickups with EMG 81 and EMG 60 but i dun think that will make much a difference concidering all 13 votes went for kelly....

so ima go for the kelly - the warlock mite be pretty but like u guys said i dun think the quality will be as good as the jackson

if you really dig the warlock shape, go for the jackson warrior .. it's similar

but if i were you i'd definately go for the kelly.. it's a beauty (i cant and cant get the KE2 in trans green out of my head.. i hate green guitars, but that one is just literaly to drool about.. like one of my friends said.. it looks like a big leaf LOL)

well.. emg's i'm not a fan of em (well, actually i could be if i could get a my greedy hands)
but the 81/60 set is awesome IMHO

I've always loved the shape of the kelly's, but I have to say- play one first. I've played that exact model before and really hated the feel of it. Could've been the set-up, who knows, and people have different tastes so you might dig it. I thought I'd at least give you a heads up anyway though.
