Played a fender strat

It was a mexican, was a nice guitar, extremely comfortable, i will one day own one my friends say the guitar is "not me" since they know me for my Kramer explorer copy but i liked it. Extremely comfortable, the thickness of the neck felt good. i now understand why alot of people like them. This brings a dilemna to what my next axe will be since i also like a LTD EC400AT (LP copy with JB/59). Anyways, next guitar will be a while off until it is financially feasible. Just felt like sharing my 1st real fender experience!

so the strats have consumed you..... welcome i love my strat. a lot. granted, it is a warmoth, its a strat and it is my first true love. if you like the strats, go for it. who cares if people think it is "you"? it seems like u got that one figured out. so good luck on finding one that fits u. be sure and look into fat strats, as they are very versatile, especially if u get the humbucker split in one of the positions.

strats are good guitars, great road warriors... they can almost do anything... a strat and a set of right hands is a great thing

Yea i played a traditional SSS standard strat, i liked it. A fat strat (HSS) is on my cards. From pics, the floyd versions don't seem to be back routed, is this correct? If so that is brilliant. At the mo im GASing for a black strat,floyd (if back routed), maple fretboard, HSS with a mirror pickguard! Im not too bothered what my mate's think, i want a less mad shape than my explorer anyway. One day a strat will be mine!

Yeah, my friends thought I was weird when my "brand new awesome guitar" was a black and white Strat, standing there next to my BC Rich with the cool 'blue-burst' finish...

Of course now that it's got the sweet new pups, my BC Rich can't step

That's great. The MIM Strats are a good deal. They're well made and sound good too. You can always change pups later if you like. Go for it.
