I have a '04 LP Standard and I LOVE it! Right now, it is my main guitar. I've been gassing for another one, but the McCarty is something I've been considering too. I would love to hear more about it compared to a LP. Looks like whatever way I decide to go, it will have to be used.

I can see why you love your 2004 LP as I have a 2003 Standard and it is awesome in stock form! My McCarty rocks as well but I really want a Historic.
