Playin' Some Blues With My Son's Band

Haven't been around a lot lately ... but have been playing more. Sat in with my son's band a couple of times in the last few weeks. Really been a lot of fun actually. Got to make my first youtube videos, as well. In this one we both sing a bit while the female vocalists take a break. Singing not necessarily our strong suit but we had some fun. Been playing a lot more lately even have another band going ... our first gig is Friday.

My rig is the Les Paul Traditional ... straight into the Brown Note D'Lite 22/33 ... into a 1x12 open back EVM12L. My son's playing the Schecter Tele.

Fun was had by all in the gig. Glad to get a chance to record playing with my son too. The Sony Handycam was clipping on the subwoofers bass and bass drum ... but all in all an OK recording.

thanks ... it is a lot of fun having this hobby in common with my son. Their other guitarist for the band was in the hospital temporarily and I was asked to sit in with the group for a couple of gigs. We should play together more often ... going to try to work that out.

Actually have another band started on my own ... first gig this Friday. So playing a lot more recently.
