I am dying to hear this thing. Man, it is ugly! U-G-L-Y. That aside, people rave it's something special and different.

Please tell su your experiences. Make comparisons. Do be specific as to amp, distortion boxes, and guitars used - makes for a better point of reference.

Its different. I suspect its a bit fussy about what guitar and pot value its used with. I have it in a mahagony Warmoth VW body guitar and play it through a PODxt, and old Fender and Marshall amps with an original Marshall Guv'nor and tubescreamer

it sounds like an overwound alnico 5 pup that has some vintage character with more bottom and a smoother top with a slightly different eq curve in the mids. a really great pup
