Please Explain

Why chords get noisier as time goes by??? my three pedals and a practice amp were so pain in the anal noisy today .... what's the best price/noise-reduction-longevity chords that are there? I don't need a studio quality, just something that would not buzz for the next 12 months or so.

Re: Please Explain

I suspect you mean cord as in the cable that goes from amp to guitar, and not a chord which is a group of musical notes played together, like an Am or F#7.
I use some cloth covered cords I found at Guitar Center. Made in China, but have been trouble free for me for a couple years now. I used to buy the cheapest ones I could find, and changed them out every 6 months or so.
Search under cables.

Re: Please Explain

Yeah I meant cables, I have Fender cables, but all of a sudden they are just so buzzy.

Re: Please Explain

I used a Fender cable for about a week. It kept making noise when I handled the thing. Snap Crackle and Pop. I would have made Kellogs proud. :)
I can't see spending some of the money they want though for Monster Cable, etc...
I was just over looking at my cables, and cannot find a name on them. They look like Dimarzio cloth covered ones though, but I know they aren't Dimarzio's.
