Please help!! Installing my 1st pickup!!

Hi--last week I posted a question on how long it takes to change a pickup and many of you told me to try it myself [along with other excellant advice]! So I think that I will try to change the pickup in my guitar! And naturally I have a few questions starting out...

1] What tools etc will I need to do the job right?

2]Any advice, tips, help, etc you can offer as I`m 'a rookie' in all of this, having never ever done this before.

3]And anything else that you think that I need to know!

Thanks again for your help and advice to me last week and I look forward to receiving some expert advice as I attempt to change the bridge pickup in my `99 Gibson `67 RI 'Flying V'.

Hi, just did my first job about 3 weeks ago. Changed pickups, volumes pots etc.
You'll need a Soldering Iron, solder. I bought one at Radio Shack for 8.00, came with the iron, solder and a couple of tools. Actually that's all I've had to use. Go to Youtube and watch some videos on "how to solder". Good luck!
