Hey everyone, first post! As the title states, I need help in finding out what the heck this guitar is. My grandpa gave this guitar to me after it sat in his attic with no strings for around thirty five years. I don't think there is a truss rod, that's why the neck didn't warp I suspect. He bought it in San Jose off of some guy so we don't know where it originally came from. All I know about it is that it was made sometime in the sixties. Something unusual about it is that the bridge has a block that you have to file down to lower action as low as you want it to go. From there you can turn a couple of wheels (see pic) to push the block up or bring it back down.
It has a little emblem that says "Douglas". Anybody ever heard of that brand?
