I've got my eye on a Standard Tele in Midnight Wine. When I get done with it, it would look like one of these models.
The midnight wine didn't reproduce as well as I would have liked but you get the idea....

Hey Butch, I posted this version of a Telecaster about 2 weeks ago. You seem to be pretty well versed in the way of the Tele. What do you think of this one? It's going to be my next axe hopefully.

Very cool.... Tell me what pickups you have planned and what material the body is.

I was thinking ash for the body. If not, then just a standard Am/Mex Fender Tele as a base. For pups, I'd probably have a Hot Rails bridge, and something similar to Cool Rails in the neck. I'm not sure what to put in there. I know that pic has a middle pup, but I'm not sure I want a middle.

The cool thing about Teles is whatever you want, you can do... I like ash but I play some Country. For a more all-around body, I like alder. I think your pickup choices are good depending on what you want to play.
