i have a gibson tribute les paul, i just purchased/installed a complete 500k wiring harness (kit). easy install with no surprises or complications

i have a P-90 in the neck, sounds great
i have a mini humbucker in the bridge, sounds great

combined on the the 3 way toggle it sound really nasally to me (middle position.)
almost like a peter green sound without the modifications/magnet flipping.

my peter green sound is well covered on my other les paul with 59/jb duncans...

i would, and do, value your input for suggestions/solutions to my nasal/thin sound when the two pups are combined.

thank you.

Sounds like they are out of phase. Switch the leads of one of the pickups.

Yay!
Just remember though, you couldn't have done it without you.
I just happened to be the one to answer your question first, and correctly.

Some good people here on these forums. I've got a Precision Guitar Kits Les Paul with the same problem and sometimes I need to be reminded of what I need to do. Time to get the soldering iron hot.
