Re: POD Users: HELP!
Yeah nuntius's suggestion above will work, but you also need to find a good spot with the drive knob where its not overdriving it at all but isnt too weak, because if you've got that too far down there's no way it'll be loud enough.
But make sure that boost function is engaged on your clean one, and even disengage it on the other channels you're using to bring them down a notch...it wont change the tone you'll just need to keep the output level up a little more overall.
Also, there is an EQ boost function which brings up the mids or something, but it can make one patch sound louder than another, and unless you have a floorboard to simply switch these on and off you need to hold down the "tap tempo" button while turning certain knobs either side of the halfway point and you will see a little letter above the patch number come on/off. The drive knob turns on/off the distortion boost which gives you a little more gain, the treble knob turns on/off the EQ boost i was talking about before, and the channel volume knob turns on/off the volume boost (which gives you a boost without altering the tone or distortion amount).
Ive stuffed around lots with my POD...and i love it! Also, the floorboards are awesome!! try and pick one up second hand if you havent got one already the wah pedal on them sounds friggin amazing with the pod sounds!
PM me if you want a clip of the pod and its wah, in fact i think ive got an old one lying around on my computer, ill put it up on my soundclick now so you can check it out
