POD XT + Acoustic

Anyone tried running an electric acoustic through a POD on say the Variax acoustic setting? Or does anyone have any settings that sound good?

I just realized I have to play my acoustic on a few songs at church tomorrow, and I would rather just A/B 2 guitars into the POD than have to switch channels mid service.

Anyone with ideas for some settings? Which amp would you use? I have been messing with the Tube Preamp.

I think the tube preamp might be your first choice. My understanding is that it's supposed to do just that. Never used it on mine since I don't own an acoustic. Report back with what you find.

i think the jazz chorus setting sounds good with an acoustic. maybe not a realistic "acoustic sound" but cool nonetheless. YMMV.
