Pole Screws

Since i'm installing some new Seymour Duncan pickups onto my Epi Les Paul and putting gold covers onto them, is it possible for me to use the gold pole scews already on my Epi pickups or do i have to buy new ones?

I'v found some on the net with this size: #5-40 X 3/4" long.
Will these fit, and is there anything else i need to know?

There shouldn't be any problem using the ones you have. Give 'em a shot before you buy anything extra.

One more thing, will taking the pole pieces out disturb the wax potting of the pickups at all?
