Hails guys... i´ll start the questions for gather info on my WFD combo, or at least ONly the WFD Hellbucker, if i will not have enough money to do the combo, i´ll do the bridge first.

What tonal differences will be noticeable in the various polepieces presented here?

1 - BLADE (Like dimebucker, dimarzio x2n, bill lawrence l 500 xl)
2 - Screws(like jb,cc etc)
3 - Hexagonal polepieces(like full shred)
4 - Brutal polepieces like Invader
5 - parallel axis polepieces

i´m asking that because i want to have the best possible combination between the various materials involved in the making of my WFD hellbucker. ahahahahahahahahaha

after this thread, a lot more similar threads with other aspects will appear, i´ll count with you to help me. YOU ADMNISTRATOS TOO. Q:p

Here's a little help... I popped the caps off of my Invader, replaced them with hex screws, and put the caps right back. The oxide caps lend a lot of chunk to the Invader.

JP i put hex poles from a Super 3 in my Invader and it tightened the low end somewhat making the tone much crisper.

I also have 6 hex poles in my Jb Ceramic (Custom) and it has a nice tight crunch for heavy distortion.

So, i may REALIZE That HEXAGONAL Caps(are screws too right?)Tighten the sound a little More?
what the normal screw, the blade and Parallel caps affect in the tone?

..You should have Duncan make you the 'RussBucker' idea I wrote about a few years ago. ..Half-blade & half-Invader-style polepieces. ..The blade should allow the picking-attack to cut-through & the Invader-style poles help the lowend to sustain longer. ..imo. ..Not a half-Dimebucker half-Invader, the coil would have to be based on a pup that's mostly upper-mids in tone, so it wouldn't be too scooped sounding(too much highs and lows). ..Though the Invader poles would probably have to be more recessed in the pup(flush, like the full shred's) for better balance between the blade & poles. ..You can still call it the WFD, if you want.;)

That´s a good ideia, but ´i still need more info on the polepieces, and i liked your ideia a lot. it really makes senses .
to keep the mids and highs and not lack bass.
a tight, but not 100% extremely TIGHT low end will be PERFECT
and a 100%(i mean all the extension of the pickup, from 1 to 6 strings)increased sustain.
which one of the Seymour duncans has more sustain in the bridge with a lot of distortion?

..It should be the PA-TB2b Distortion 'Parallel Axis Trembucker'. ..Though, I like the tone of the PA-TB1 'Original Parallel Axis Trembucker' from the SD clips more.

Most of the Custom Shop stuff (unless it's really different, like a 7 string blade pup) is around $140-150.
