I need to stop looking at Craigslist. Don't know what he means about 6v6's and el84's, looks like a 60 watt red stripe to me. Great price though. Sweet cab, though it needs an EV or 2.

Saw that, but I don't need another Mark III. I have three already! He's is right about that 212 Half-Back Cab--they sound really good.

I am going to be listing my black Mark III Simul-Class, Reverb, EQ combo and a 112 Thiele cab on the Portland CL pretty soon. The combo has a Celestion 100 and the Theile has a JBL E-120, which is a really great combination of speakers. Not that I don't love the amp, but I bought something else...

What I did buy yesterday was on the Eugene CL--a six month old Mark V:25 head and the two new little recto 112s, one a slant top...so the whole stack--and got it for not much more than this Mark III rig. I'm still in shock. It was a great price, and I'm really digging the amp.

This is the best week to look at amps on LA Craigslist. There's a lot more listings due to the LA Amp Show being this weekend.

I would go nuts looking at that everyday. Up here there's a boogie listed a couple times a week, but usually nothing I'm interested in. When something good does come up (Tremoverb, Mark III, Mark V, half back cabs for me) at a good price, I start to sweat and then my hands start to shake and then I check my beer money account balance. At that point the anticipation sweat turns to flop sweat and all goes back to normal.
