Possible special run alpine white SG's

I'm working with Saul at Centre City Music in San Diego to try and get a special run of either standards or 61's in alpine white. He asked about the vintage white and Gibson told him no, that those were a special for music123 at least through the year. But they said maybe to alpine white. He's trying to see what can be done within reason (price, number of pieces he has to order, etc) and I'm supposed to call him back Monday and see what's up. So if anyone is interested in either, keep an eye out for some updates.

why not just get 1 of the Classic White 1s from music123 or find a used 61RI in white?

As for your poll, I would love to get a '61RI in white but I just moved and wouldn't be able to swing it for a while

This is pretty cool news for Gibson SG fans. If there should be one standard production Gibson in white, it should be the '61, hands down.

Me? I'm holding out for an LP/SG Custom in vintage white (I'd jump on a white '61, but I really want an ebony fretboard).

Those pictured are vintage white, its more of a creamy color. Alpine white is much brighter, like this.

That's out of my price range but would be cool.

Alpine white would be nifty but I'd want some special specs...Ebony fretboard, and 24 frets.
