Not old m;etallica, but for a Ceramic Custom in an alder Strat (Actually a Dinky, but they´re more than close enough) thru a Mesa V-twin, check my sig

I'm working on some stuff right now, sorry I haven't recorded anything yet, but in my Korina-bodied (think Mahoghany) Strat it can kill everyone with it's fatness and definition! I especially like it in Drop D tuned flat 1/2 a step. It's trully a Metal pup IMHO.

thanks guys, i am trying to decide on what custom for a ibanez RG
I like shredding solo's with a tight punchy fat rhythm tone.
I am leaning toward the original custom i hear it is the tightest of the three?
I like a compressed tone that is like a punch in da face :laugh2:
