Hello everyone, I was wanting to know if anyone knows what size & brand Pots, 3-Way Toggle Switch & Output Jack for my Charvel Model 5fx for going to passive pickups?

That is 1 humbucker and 1 single coil, right? I'd probably use 500k pots as the single coil would be on the hot & dark side depending on what pickup you end up with. What passives are you switching to? CTS or Bournes pots are standards, as well as a Switchcraft jack if you want to switch that out.

You can use a 500k for the humbucker
and add a 500k resistor between the start of the single coil and ground
this will make the single see the pot as a 250k
While the humbucker sees the full 500k
if the switch and jack look alright leave em
You can up grade to pure tone jacks if you want

Hello Mincer, yes 1 humbucker and 1 slant single coil in neck, both emg pickups and obviously emg pots. Is there certain size shaft I would have to go with due to having emg pots in it?
