I sold Power Stage 170 already and got 200 recently. Can anyone reply to my impression with your thoughts please?
- Phone Knob only works for phone output. It doesn't control volume of XLR output. XLR output volume cannot be controlled and it's always fixed.
- 200 has smoother, more natural and somehow thinner sound than 170. 200 works better with Preamp Pedal + Pedalboard
- 170 was having more punchy attack sound when picking, but that makes 170 has less flexible than 200
- 200 has slightly lower volume than 170. maybe it's just because I don't remember the volume of 170 at this time.
It looks there's no 170 vs 200 comparison video on YouTube yet. I'm really curious if my impression above is totally wrong or if my unit has any defect on it. (looks not though..)
