Power Stage 700 w/Preamp

anyone try running a Preamp thru the PS700 ???......just curious....dont want to funk anything up....i have a Mesa Tri Axis and an Groove Tube Trio i wanted to try

Are you asking if you can run a preamp through the PS700? If so, that's what it's made for.

I was more under the impression it was for stuff like the Helix and Axe ect ect......thanks....will try it tonight

Yeah, any preamp will work through the PowerStages. It can be something like a preamp pedal (Sansamp, Palladium), or a full-on digital modeler. You can plug the output into a guitar cabinet or a FR/FR speaker, too.

Those are "preamps" when running into a power amp and guitar cab.

yes I use my power stage 700 with a Marshall JMP-1 because I was robbed of my Marshall power amp and the truth works and works very well. it doesn't color the sound and I'm very happy because the rack is lighter.
