Powerstage 700 help

Purchased a brand new 700. The powerstage is replacing my heavy stereo tube power amp. First of all , saves some rack space and going to save my back!
Im running a Fractal Axe fx into it. Using XLR balanced cable from output 1 L and R of Fractal. My question is , is it safe to use balanced cables (xlr to 1/4" TRS) into input L and R of powerstage?
Manual isn't very clear on this. Tried it for about 30 seconds and noticed a little hotter signal and sounded excellent. Don't want to screw anything up though.

Welcome to the forum!

This should be fine. I've hooked up my Fractal like this to a friend's PowerStage 700 for a series of live shows, and it worked well.

Thanks for the response. It really sounds better to me like this (not sure why). I was just nervous about hooking up this way. Thought it could possibly damage Powerstage.
