PowerStage 700 using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2

I would like to know if I can use a PowerStage 700 with my left and right outputs of my interface?

So my practice rig is setup like this...

- iPad Pro running BIAS FX 2 Mobile

- MeloAudio MIDI Commander

- Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen

- Studio Monitors

I want to take the left and right from the interface, and go into the PowerStage 700. Then into two 2x12 or two 4x12 cabs for stereo live rig.

Can this be done? If not what would I need to make this work?

Thanks for any input!

Welcome to the forum!

The Powerstage 700 is just a clean power amp, although a really loud, good one. The way you describe it is exactly what you will do...L & R out of your interface into the PS, then the outputs of the PS into your cabs.

Sweet, exactly what I wanted to confirm! And thank you. This is going to sound so GOOD when I'm done.

Be aware of a couple things: You said 2i2 in the title, but Solo in the text. They aren't the same unit. You need to make sure that the "Direct Monitor" function works with the line outs. It does on my 2i2, but not familiar with the Solo. If you do have the Solo, be sure to double-check the manual. The latency will drive you nuts if not.
