Anybody ever try this style PPIMV instead of the Fischer or Lar Mar versions? I plan to add one to my Traynor YBA-1. Looking forward to the results!

I tried out this master volume last night in my 1970 Traynor YBA-1. Really couldn't get much crunch out of it with the bright volume turned up high and the master low. A little thin, so I compensated by turning up the bass and mid controls. Then I ran it with master all the way up and adjusted the regular volume as I normally would. Once the amp began to overdrive it was kinda splatty in the lows and low mids even after readjusting the tone controls. I removed the PPIMV today and put the amp back to normal. I think it sounds much better now.
