I've searched the forums for awhile in search of an instructional tool I can use to ween me off the bad habits I've surely gotten into by not taking a huge interest in practicing over the years. I don't care about playing a million miles an hour, sweep picking or anything that's clearly beyond me at this point.
I'm looking for something with a somewhat extensive section on proper left and right hand techniques and a focus on things like picking technique and other often overlooked facets of a good players chops. I'm willing to put in the time and effort but I'm merely looking for a way to approach improving in a methodical way.
Has anyone had success with a particular DVD(s) or book(s)? If so, which ones? Thanks in advance
