Pro Co Solo Distortion

Anyone tried one? How does it compare with the ProCo Rat 2? It has three distortion modes on it, seems very versatile.

I've tried it. Quite versatile, but I prefer a modded RAT. Simpler circuits makes for easy dialing,

I use the ProCo Rat 2 and the ProCo Solo. The Solo is a Rat 2 on steroids! I love it and it gets some insane sounds! That said, I still use my Rat 2, both are great pedals.

Funny thing is that the Solo can nearly cop my modded RAT tones, albeit with less presence.

Check out my Holy Mother of 80's tone thread from a couple pot weeks ago.

Great pedal. CAn do everything a Rat 2 can and more.
