Problem with my guitar

I wired my guitar with one humbucker and just one volume knob and something is wrong but I don't know what. i can hear the guitar tru the speaker but its very faint the buzz sound is louder. also when i touch the strings it gets quieter. at times when i move around it cuts out and i hear buzzing. I know it could be a lot of things but does anyone know if it worth a shot changing the volume and output jack?

Sounds like a grounding issue or/and some wrong connections. Re-check your wiring.

Did you wire it up like this?? If it is buzzing and cutting out you probably have a bad solder connection or maybe some wires are touching and shorting out as well?
