Problem with Strat Wiring - Need Help!

Hi everyone,

I'm at a loss. I've been searching for this issue for hours now and can't find a fix. It seems to be a ground issue. I have all grounds connected to the back of the volume pot just like its meant to be. It buzzes pretty loud, when I touch the jackplate it disappers. When I touch the bridge or the strings it seems to get even louder ?

I simply disassembled it to strip the paint and just resoldered the wires. Sadly don't have a multimeter to test continuity, but I can get one by tomorrow.

I hope someone can figure this out. thank you so much in advance!

I have a small album for you to check out if you can spot any errors, the wiring is kind of messy, excuse that. http://imgur.com/a/Q32K4

Last time I had something like this happen, I had wired the jack backwards. Have you double checked yours?

Hi! thank you for answering!

I checked, it's the way its supposed to be. Came from Fender that way, I just cut the white and black and soldered them back together when reassembling. It worked fine before I took it apart, I must have made some mistake.

EDIT: just when I checked, the ground wire ripped off the jack, I'm resoldering it now.... maybe that was the issue!

EDIT2: I just resoldered the output jack and everything is working fine again, thank you so much!
