Project suggestions?

So I have this sweet little JS32 Dinky...

Now, what to do????


Options include
a) Keep neck HB
b) Fill in neck and go Single

Then, it's getting painted/graphic'd etc.
a) Solid color? Which one?
b) Graphics? What graphic?
*Please - no airbrushing!!! Not going Kline here. Something within my capabilities of decals and stencils.

Finally - pickups...really open to anything, DMZ or Duncan.
- And what color, if appropriate....


I will start out by saying I am partial to this or som:

I could be down for anything, as long as it is doable by me....

If you did go the airbrush route, I would do something with a Hollywood Boulevard street sign, with a little 80's nightlife going on in the background.

That’s a cool idea... could probably even find someone who could do a custom decal if he wants to avoid airbrush.

If you want to get rid of the neck pick-up that cool, may I suggest perhaps swapping it out for a high sensitively pickup then you can mount it flush/indented with the body. You could then cover it and paint over it. Have it as a "secrete weapon" for times when the bridge pickup isn't needed. Perhaps slap in a P-94 (P-90 that fits a HB slot) to give you something different?

I'm a big fan of paint jobs that wrap around the edge of the guitar myself, if you like a Japan War Flag, I'd put the center above the bridge as all your controls are where it is in your reference photo so you won't be able to easily add legible text around the controls.

If you are fine with doing some filling and drilling, I think it would look cool if you did the rising sun thing, but with the volume pot in the middle of the circle, and them put the characters vertically down the bass side. You could also replace the Jackson logo with something more oriental looking and replace black hardware with gold if you wanted to go all the way.
