Props for the Boss FS-5L

I already know this thread will get one response and everyone else will think it's stupid but I am throwing out some props for this thing.

It cost me $12 shipped and you can get them all day in the $10-$20 range. So far it has worked with the Boss remote pedals (as it should), worked for channel switching/reverb on my Yamaha G100, channel switching on the Mesa MkII, and switching the effects on and off my brothers modeling amp. I've gotten a lot of use from this thing so far and it has really come in handy... anyway, back to whatever you were doing before you read this boring thread about a footswitch.

Yeah, it's hard to get excited about a footswitch, but the FS-5L is a perfectly good one.

I use the unlatching FS-5U version as a hold pedal for my guitar synth, and to change parameters in my effects for as long as I hold it down. They have been working great for over 10 years.

I use one alternately for Chanel switch or fx on/off ony cube.

Perfectly decent switch - the U version
