PRS McCarty 2000 Fire Flametop.

This one pains my heart to sell, but it's going to go quickly because it's a mint millenium guitar that plays and sounds killer.

Ted McCarty was the President of Gibson, so Paul Reed Smith learned a lot from him before Ted passed. This guitar was the result. I've played and owned a lot of PRS guitars and the McCarty model is superior because Paul set aside his own preferences and went with Ted's....a wise move. The McCarty could be considered "the last Gibson" designed by the man who created all the best Gibson models.

$1600 obo. Price drop to $1450. Act now, before it's gone.
Western Union or US Postal money order.
Plus actual cost of Fedex or UPS shipping

Asking price?

Side trivia: Mr. McCarty lived in the same senior center as my grandfather in twin falls Idaho before he passed. Still have a news clipping from when they interviewed him at the center. He had a PRS McCarty model with him, said it was closer to his intended design than Gibsons.

If I lived your side of the water Joe I would grab that for sure as I’d love a McCarty to go with the ME. For the uninitiated and the new members, Jonser has and has had the best of the best gear and the fact he’s had this in his stable for years tells you just how good this guitar must be.... some lucky bastard is going to be very happy!

The best sounding pickups I've heard in a McCarty are Seth Lovers, which should be no surprise. If this guitar came out in the late 50's by Gibson, Ted would have put Seth's PAF's in it.
