Hey guys!

It took some effort but I finally finished this new epic comparison! :)
These sort of comparisons are a lot of fun to make.
They're basically good excuses to use all my amps again.

I recently got a PRS MT15 and I thought it would be a lot of fun to see how it compared to some of my other amps.
The results are pretty interesting but I would really love to know what your thoughts are!
I will reveal my favorites soon as well.

Signal flow:
Guitar - Axe Fx III (to record the DI via usb) - Tube Amp - Fractal LB-2 Loadbox - Axe Fx III (for cab modeling) - Cubase

No EQ was used other than some minor HPF's to get rid of some of the sub-lows during the full band mixes so those are bypassed during the solo'ed bits.
The clean parts all have some very gentle compression on the bus but only just a bit.

Great clip! Thanks for sharing.

I'm actually surprised to hear it resembles the 6505MH and 5150III more than the Recto.

Also really liking that Jim Root Terror.

Great job man !
I found the Mesa very messy with the low end , my favorite one was the Laney .

The Rectifier has a very loose low end for sure.
I love the Laney too, so much awesomeness!

Hi Jon , it would be very interesting if you could add a KT88 based amp at this overview , like the DV Mark Triple 6 .
