Hello The PRS strings new are packaged in groups of strings, is it E(Low E),AD then G,B,E(High E)?
you should be able to tell by looking at them?
You have to be careful, the left-handed sets look virtually identical but go on upside down.
pffft amateur! i only use left handed sets on my guitars (all right handed) and i can smell the difference as soon as i take em out of the package. a lefty set of strings on a right handed guitar gives a fatter tone on the skinny strings and a more focused tone on the fat strings. i returned a set a while back to the store since it was sold as left handed but quite obviously a right handed set put in the lefty string package by mistake
I've never tried or even seen their strings in stores. Did they contract a string company to make them, or do they actually own a string factory?
It says on their site: Our strings are coiled in pairs accordingly: 1st & 4th, 2nd & 5th, 3rd & 6th
Individual string gauges: .009, .011, .016, .024, .032, .042. (ACC-3103)
So does that mean .009 and .024, .011 and .032, .016 and .042?
What I was told by my local PRS dealer is they are basically rebranded NYXLs, not exatly the same but close
Ive tried them, I like them but a bit $$ for me
thats what i would take that to mean, yes. d'addario does that too
they do, but i feel like they are paired. maybe its been too long and im misremembering since usually use dr
