So I really, really like the PRS Tremonti Treble. I like how it's high output yet clear, bright, and tight. It's got a very aggressive high midrange that I feel cuts through with riffs and ESPECIALLY palm mutes.
But I'm curious if there's anything that's remotely close to it in a 7-string pickup. One of the only pickups I can think of is the Duncan Nazgul. It seems like the Nazgul would have the high end and high mid attack the Tremonti has, as well as the beefy, tight low end.
Am I missing something to think these two might be similar? Any other recommendations?
