Powdered Toast Man

I've gone and done it, I have yet another Telecaster. This is my first build though. It started when I bought a used MJT body locally. Alder, Sonic Blue, relic nitro finish, and the kicker: It's semi-hollow. It's got a solid core, but the wings on both the top and bottom are hollow. You can see what I mean from the photos of the control cavity. So it's kinda like a Thinline except no F-hole. Anyhoo, after that I decided this was going to be a 60's themed guitar. I had a set of Nocaster pickups and an extra bridge laying around, plus switches and pots. I bought the rest of the parts which included a mint pickguard. The neck arrived yesterday - from a 60's Baja Tele. 60's look but with a 9.5" radius and medium frets.
The only issue I had was that the previous owner did not drill the pickguard and control plate holes properly so they were misaligned. I had to get some wood filler and fill the holes then redrill. There were a couple where the hole was only a little off so the drill bit ended up grabbing the old hole through the filler so there's two screw head that are a bit crooked. Otherwise it went together without problems. Got it all set up and playing nice! It sounds like a Tele but with different overtones. It seems louder. It's also very light due to the chambered body.
