Pu selector problem after wiring.

Hi, this is my first post here so excuse me if I'm not posting in the right place...

So, here's my problem: I've just finished wiring my new guitar built from different parts, I have a JB in the bridge position and two Fender 68 reissue in the mid and neck position, 5 way selector, one master volume. When I plug my guitar all pickups work but the sound is weak, yet when I put my hands on the selector or even on certain areas of the pickguard I get the normal output I should get from the pickups.

I'm sure I've read things about this problem before but I can't remember what was the issue and what was to be done. :smack:
Can someone help me with this?
Thanx in advance, cheers!

Sounds like a grounding problem. Make sure the ground wire on the switch is soldered properly. Also check to see if its grounded properly to the strings as well, as well as all of the pots are grounded correctly. Make sure everything has a good connection, basically.
