PU suggestions Jazz in the Bridge?

I'm still struggling with ideas for my Hamer Echotone:banghead: I have a SD Jazz I could put in the neck and wondered how a Jazz would sound in the bridge, (with different magnets?) and what type of tones I would end up with? Has anyone tried one in a 335 clone or other semi hollow?

The Jazz set has always been outshadowed by the JB/Jazz, so many never got exposed to what a toneful pickup the Jazz Bridge Model is. It's got a tight bottom end, neutral mids, and crystalline highs, which you can dial in with your tone knob to perfection. The Jazz set is really a good choice for players who use single coil guitars most of the time, because the Jazz's have nice snap and clarity. They sound equally great on clean or highgain.

You might really like them in a 335 style guitar. They'll be more clear sounding than the usual 335 tone.....57 Classics or Seth Lovers.

Thanks for the link! WOW, that's a great example of what a stack of Marshall's and a set of Jazz pickups can do, (close my eyes and Ozzy and Zack come to mind). I hope someone also has some clips of what a variety of clean and slightly overdriven sounds like for the set.
