GregJr New member Dec 28, 2014 #1 Bought a used JB. Black to hot, red and white together and green to ground. But when i connect bare to ground, absolutely no sound. Disconnecting bare wire makes it work but when i touch the pu screw, it hums. Any thoughts?? Thx.

F Funkfingers Guest Dec 28, 2014 #2 Re: PU wiring issue.... Photographs of the wiring in the control cavity of your guitar, please. Also, is the pickup covered or open bobbin? If covered, do the solder spots look original?
