These are the singles that came out of my Johnson Strat. They're really not too bad. They're "EMG Designed". They have the bar magnet glued underneath, but they look nice and sound good. I had these for around a year before I changed them for Duncans. Classic single-coil chime. They measure: 6.72k/6.75k/6.79k Middle one is RWRP. Not sure of the magnets.
Flat pole pieces.

Johnson Singles

These are the singles that came out of my Genny. Chinese, bar magnet glued on bottom. Not quite as good as the above, but not terrible. Make a good "filler" for something you're selling. 5.6k - Ceramic mags. They do have a nice full copper sheilding, thats grounded, under the cover. Slugs follow the fretboard radius.
(There's only two pups. I removed the cover of one so you could see the sheilding.)

Peavey Genny singles

Bridge humbucker from the Genny. Good for parts or rewinds. I remember it as so-so. Kinda bright, unimpressive. Hard to remember since I changed it immediately. 10.25k - Ceramic magnet. btw - thats not rust in the pick. The bottom is brass-colored. (May be cheap brass.)

Hey Tim; Actually, I'm going the opposite direction. Thinking of putting a Vintage Rails in the bridge. But more importantly - both CR's are gone. They must've been the hot item.

If it wasn't for that, I have wondered what an HR sounds like. Sorry.
