I have a standard Mexi strat (untouched). I like the voice that the neck and middle pups have, but i think the bridge is a little twangy. I was thinking ssl-3, b ut then i decided that I dont know crap bout single coil pups. im playing classic rock-to motorhead. What do I do

The Twangbanger might be a great choice. It's the strongest single Strat bridge pickup I've used that still sounds like a Strat. It's alnico 2 which gives it more mids and less glassy highs than alnico 5 and it has a baseplate that gives it more bass...plus it's wound hot. It's a killer...

As an avid user of the Twangbanger I'll have to reinforce what Lew told you...After this pickup I Like the Antiquity Texas Hot Custom.I use em both.

You are playing heavy music right? So, you need power and hum-cancelling. However you may also want to keep the glassy tone of a strat - that is your choice. Most humbuckers in single coil format are great, BUT your strat then sounds like a humbucker machine. The Screamin' Demon pup still sounds glassy but has the power so some 'strat' is left in there - that might be a cool option for you - or you try out an SSL-3 which I have - that is the loudest and most amok-running pickup I have ever had - it squeels pure saturated distortion til the cows come home - however it is not a hum-cancelling pup and one day you will stand on the stage and the lights go on - and the noise starts... it happened to me recently....
