I don't have anything I want to trade at the moment, but I was after a DD for the Bridge of my strat.

Would you accept money? :D

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

Would you trade a black covered/logo JB Trembucker for your white '59 Trembucker?

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

really holding out for the 78 to let the 59 go....

what about any of the others? how much do you want for it.

Rich_T: what were you thinking.. bear in mind it was installed for like 5 minutes.

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

I've got a black TB JB that's had an aged A5 fitted by Lollar that I'd love to trade for your Custom Custom, I've also got some others if you're interested ?

WCR Filmore, Black, 4 conductor
WCR Goodwood neck, zebra, 4 conductor
Pearly Gates neck, black, 4 conductor
White Lil 59 bridge, new style
Lollar imperial, trem spaced, custom order, black/white 4 conductor

Take your pick or if anyone else is interested ???

Mine are ALL in MINT condition, so I'd ask for the same please.

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

not heard of WCR, any clips, also any clips of the JB... does it sound like a 80s one if you know as i heard these were good.

the Custom Custom has been installed for about 2 months. the box is a custom 5 box.

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

Not heard of WCR ????
Do yourself a huge favour and take a look at his web site, there are clips there.
I LOVE Jim's stuff.
The Filmore is his rockier voiced model, I love it as it's not too powerful, just tons of tone.

The JB is new, I tried it in my PRS but I can't deal with high output pickups.
The magnet makes it just a tad smoother, much better.

didn't you get the Custom Custom from new ?

the Custom Custom is from a forum bro... so used, I checked out the clips and didnt like the compressed sound of the Filmore. I am still a bit undecied with the JB also..

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

How did you modify a Kramer pointy into a nana head? I've got to see pictures of this.

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

The site clip has it fitted in a Les Paul, EVERYTHING sounds compressed in one of them.
WCR's are the least compressed of any pickup I've ever used, irrespective of model.

I respect your choice, but you really should try at least one of Jim's beasties, he's a genius.

:smokin:

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

Ill take pictures of the kramer neck, it wasn't me but a professional (just sanded down the point to round it off)

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

wolf5150: any personal clips, especially the JB? I did like the Goodwood clips, sounded really fuzzy.. but u have the neck so im not sure how well that would work in the bridge.

Re: Pups for Trade (from UK)

Sorry mate, I'm not into recording myself.

I'm a live player only, that's the only recording I ever do, to try and improve my performance.

The Goodwood is very fat, whereas the Filmore is more rocky.

Very much depends what guitar they're in..for example, I didn't like the Goodwood in my PRS but in my Super Strat it's unbelievable.

I've just put a '78 in the PRS and that's perfect, but I hated it in my Strat !!

Go figure :bad:
