Pup's with covers question

Seeing as how one of the coils has it's pole pieces covered can it still be wired up in all those wild and wonderful custom configurations ie. split,in/out of phase,parallel/series ect. ect.??
BTW can you get a 59' in a cover WITH 4 wires??

SURE! Get four wires and you'll have it all! :dance:
