Putting Casters on a cab???

I have a Avatar 2x12 cab and I am wondering if I put casters on it would it effect the sound of my cab??

Also what kind/ size of casters work best??

I wouldn't put casters on a 2x12. Unless it weighed over 50 lbs...

I recommend the Ernie Ball removable casters.

It'll sound differant with casters. Less bass. Most cabs sound fuller and deeper if they're coupled to the floor by sitting directly on it without casters. I think it's because the floor acts like one side of a big horn...if you can picture that. A wooden floor also resonates and strengthens the bass frequencies if the cab is sitting right on it. Still...casters make moving alot easier! Lew

Those Ernie Ball casters are nice and removeable as well. I have installed them on a couple of different amps and they always work great.
