So, I got the white Hot Rod Deluxe (a really nice amp by the way, the Celestion neodymium speaker is much better than the Eminence ceramics), and I absolutely love it.
However, the only problem that i have with it is that I noticed that the master obviously uses a linear taper pot instead of a logarithmic (audio) taper pot. While cranked, this makes no real difference, at low volumes, this makes the master extremely touchy and doesn't put as much power in for tube saturation.
The issue at hand is that if I were to replace the volume pot, my warranty is void. Would the simple fix be worth voiding my warranty? What do you think?
