Quarter pounder P bass pickup

I have a Fender Jazz bass and I have been thinking about replacing the neck pickup with a p bass quarter pounder. According to the descripition it says that it sounds best with a rosewood fretboard, but my bass has a maple fretboard. I was wondering how this would affect the tone and stuff. I figured it wouldnt be that big of a deal, but I just thought that I would ask.

may add some brightness, but you might not hear the difference straight away!

ive put qp p bass pups in maple neck basses, nothing to worry about.
