Quarter Pounder ... Stack Plus?

Ok so it sounds to me like the Quarter Pounder bridge for stratocaster can handle metal.

BUT my question is this: can the custom shop create one that is also a stack plus like a Classic/Custom stack and hum cancelling?

I've read previous forum threads on it but no one seems to say it can definitely be done.

Also, hate to ask but, can/could it play metal if connected to the same rig that, say, Metallica used on Ride the Lightning?

I don't think half-height QP size magnets exist. They would be needed for making a stack.

Why pick a Quarter Pound (stack, even) to play metal when there might be other single coil-sized pickups that do it better?

I know the QP for Tele is a different pickup from the Strat one, but in my old Esquire, I felt the QP did Metal way better than the Hot Rails did. The Hot Rails was HOT, but that's about the best thing I can say about it. The QP had TONE.
