I have Vintage VS6 SG ( all mahogany, rosewood fingerboard ) and Vintage V 100 Les Paul ( all mahogany with no maple top ) copies.... right now i am confused in which of these to put SH6/Jazz combo. i want one of these guitars straight for metal. bands like: Anthrax, Dokken, Heathen, Grave Digger, early Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Saxon, Judas Priest, Annihilator, Testament, Sepultura, W.A.S.P and stuff like that. in which of that two guitars would SH6 sound safer, with no fear for icepick or harshness? the neck profile of SG is slightley less comfortable to me, than in LP. but, there is easier acces to upper frets on SG which is cool... so there is the mainly question: which one of that two guitars would sound safer to ears with that pickup? my current amps are: Blackstar HT-5 and some Roland Cubes tranzistors ( 20 and 40 watts versions ).
