Question about Screamin Demon pole pieces

So what`s the deal with hex pole pieces on the Demon. Is there any benefit to the standard flat pole pieces.

I just got one haven't really messed with them yet so I wouldn't mind some feedback on it as well.

Otherwise I'll have to use my own ears and brain. yikes!

Those allen head pole pieces bring more harmonics ( high treebles ) and make bass tighter ; if you want to realise it remove them and replace by slotted screws or just exchange the allen and the slotted on one string (the high E for exemple) and it will pierce your eardrum ! they make the pickup more responsive to fast picking as well cos' treeble and mids are faster to your ears .
