Question about series wiring

I just installed a JB and Jazz in a customer's guitar using the Jimmy Page wiring diagram. Everything works great, but I have a question about the series/parallel switch on the neck tone pot. It works fine in the neck or neck & bridge position, but I get no sound when the bridge pickup is selected by itself. Is this intended, or am I missing something?

I hope you didn't use the one that is available through the main part of the Duncan site. it's not really right. There's a better one available.

Anyway - usually it's the neck pickup that turns off, not the bridge.

The customer provided me with the diagram and it is from the Duncan site. From what you're saying it sounds like it's working like it should be. I'll see what he thinks and go from there. Thanks!

that is a complete list of all of the switching options the JP wiring provides. It's a nice list to have, if you're using it.

I'm too lazy to look at the Duncan diagram, but yes the way that I wire series switches it also has no sound in one pickup selector position. Irritating.

To do better you have to have switches with one more rows of poles.

Possibly irritating but if your goal is to have both pickups in series and you only select one pickup that is what happens.
